Musicians here at Sweetwater appreciate that this ligature has an inner O-ring that protects your mouthpiece from scratches and provides a strong grip to prevent slipping. However, the ring only makes contact with the outer edges of the reed and the backside of the mouthpiece, allowing the reed to vibrate at its fullest potential.
