It works fine as a simple phone and links to home network to read emails and get on internet. An advantage is that you just plug into PC USB to transfer files, eg photos and music. Downside is that you can't download any extra apps or office apps because Windows store does not seem to be working. It has some apps, such as maps, groove music and weather. Battery seems to last well. Simple phone, well worth the £30 I paid.
