Jack the Hat will be glad to know the film was black and white, so there'll be no confusion about having to process the results for colour! Fitted the 49mm mount on my Pentax ME Super with a bit of fiddling (but I think that's down to the lens more than anything). So very happy indeed, and will use the shop again!

This is my first real foray into infrared photography so I'm not entirely sure on how this filter compares to others out there. What I can say is that it looks good to me and I don't see any signs of the hot spotting or flares. I am happy with my purchase as it looks to be a good introduction to infrared photography and I would be encouraged to buy other Pig Iron products.

Although moderately more expensive than the cheapest, the quality is recognised by the industry. The seller provided the item in its protective case which can be used for storing the filter when not in use. The goods were packed in a suitable cardboard box, ideal for posting and delivery through a letterbox. The package was sent promptly and arrived in perfect condition.

He kindly emailed me explaining that Royal Mail deliveries have deteriorated a lot recently, but has no option but to use them for small items.
