Secondky, this lock fits a 1940s cedar chest that my mom purchased with money made by packing tomatoes as a young girl. I've kept it for over 40 years. I realized the lock was broken (thought it was for show). Although I won't need to lock it, restoring it back to the way it was when she purchased warmed my heart.
