Part of Canon's line of FD lenses, the 28mm f/2.8 lens is ideal for indoor, street, and landscape photography. The f/2.8 aperture makes it possible to capture sharp images even in low light situations, while the simplistic design with green and white lettering and 3-D red alignment dot make it easy to mount on the camera quickly. Canon's Super Spectra Coating gives the lens additional clarity that minimizes ghosting, flares, and other light aberrations in photos, and creates contrast and sharpness that results in finely detailed photographs. It even provides excellent depth of field, sharpness, and close focusing distance for videographers.
