After a fresh cleaning, the drive seems to be working appropriately, at least for 800k DS disks, as it loaded into the OS from that drive. It even came with the disk that was inside the pictures, so free bonus disk! I didn't look at its contents yet, if any. The drive is very quiet. I don't have the means to try the 1.44MB at this time, but I will assume that works. Thank you!

It was securely packed & exactly as pictured & matched the description perfectly. The only issues was communication, which was drawn out and more difficult than it needed to be.
