It came oiled and was reasonably sharp, some parts on the blade were slightly sharper than others. Other than that, there are a couple of scratches on the black paint on the Kashira. The Tsuka-Ito was tightly wrapped (my first sword so don't know whether it's because its leather or just tightly wrapped) and was comfortable to hold. All in all for under a hundred (USA) dollars I'm VERY impressed and it's worth getting.

It was minimal and no fault of the seller. Otherwise, the sword arrived in good shape, sharp and functional and am pleased with the sword and quality of the product especially for the price. I did contact the seller about the shipping damage (again, aware it is not their fault and called this out) and their response was very quick and helpful.
