Rubber is too thick, which impedes magnet. Ended up ripping it off and super gluing a different ring on to replace it which has worked much better, but had I known this case would be this way I probably would not have bought it.

The glue they use is very weak and had already come apart during shipping. Anything magnetic and the metal ring gets pulled right off the back of the case. I sent the seller a message and they refunded my money right away though
