Perfectly compatible with brand name reducers, but at a nice discount. I have purchased other Angeleyes products, and love them ! This unit is a great addition to the observing inventory, as it effectively doubles your eyepiece collection by providing two magnifications from each eyepiece. If you get 100x with the standard prime focal length, the reducer will give 63x, a wider view, and this ratio applies with every eyepiece.
