It's on some kind of a thick film and the picture has a beautiful photograph type finish, like the old days. It was shipped in a hard protective plastic tube so there would be no damage. Interactions with the seller were excellent.

The seller has what appears to be an address in France, the poster I ordered was claimed to be printed and shipped from China. And to top it all off, it was "departed" from New Jersey, arrived in L.A. an hour later, then back to New Jersey.
