Synopsis
In the first novel of the Union Street Bakery series, Daisy McCrae learns how easily life can turn on a dime... Suddenly without a job or a boyfriend, Daisy now lives in the attic above her family's store, the Union Street Bakery, while she learns the business. It doesn't help that, as the only adopted daughter, her relationship with her sisters has never been easy. When an elderly customer dies, Daisy is surprised to inherit a journal from the 1850s, written by a slave girl named Susie. As she reads, Daisy learns more about her family--and her own heritage--than she ever dreamed. Haunted by dreams of the young Susie, who beckons Daisy to "find her," she is compelled to explore the past more deeply. What she finds are the answers she has longed for her entire life., In the first novel of the Union Street Bakery series, Daisy McCrae learns how easily life can turn on a dime... - e***- (122)- Votos emitidos por el comprador.Mes pasadoCompra verificadaUnfortunately I received a damaged book, the item and the package both were damaged and it was clearly evident its appearance that it happened during transit. The seller was very understanding and gave me a full refund for the damaged book, though it was no fault of their own. Other than the damage, the book was as described, the quality and condition aside from the damaged spot was like new. The cost of the book was reasonable. I would definitely purchase from the seller again.
- 7***j (862)- Votos emitidos por el comprador.Mes pasadoCompra verificadaI recently purchased an item from this eBay seller, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the prompt communication to the fast shipping, everything was handled with utmost professionalism. - 5***i (74)- Votos emitidos por el comprador.Mes pasadoCompra verificadaArrived on time. Packaging was lacking, product damaged in two places during shipping due to inadequate padding within the packaging. I can live with it seeing as I don't want to hunt down and pay for another copy... Item was as described minus the damage to the spine of the book in one place from the thin plastic wrapping not providing any rigidity or padding. This is the first time I have encountered this problem with this Fantastic seller. Excellent value. Thank you
