Maceo Parker s Minor Music collaborations helped define him as a solo artist. They truly are the definition of evergreen. A must-stock for all music retailers! Has scanned over 57,000 copies. Maceo Parker has played with all the leaders of funk, from his career start with James Brown to playing with george Clinton and Bootsy s Rubber Band. He has collaborated with artists as diverse as Prince, Ray Charles, Ani Difranco, James taylor, Dave Matthews Band, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. An in-demand sideman and always playing, the Maceo Parker Band has gone global and he is nearly always on the road, being the greatest little funk orchestra on earth!
