I know our young patrons are quite fond of superheroes, so it's nice to see a book like this one, designed just for them. You don't have to worry about content that is inappropriate for even the youngest reader. . . .I'm sure our little hero fans will get a kick out of this one., This graphic novel is geared for ages 6-8; however this is a must have for any DC comics enthusiast. . . .There is an entire series of chapter books staring the super pets. This works as a guide or a companion book with the chapter books., This book is great! I read it together with my kids and they had a great time with it! They loved that it included some of their favorite heroes and pets from Super-Pets, Tiny Titans and all the DC Comics. The art is typical of Art Baltazar's work - super fun and cute! There are all kinds of cool backstories for the pets and even a section describing the comics cannon origins of some of the characters. I think any child or adult would love to read this fun book!, Super-Pets is a clever look at the world of superheroes. Students will be attracted to the bright cover and comic theme., ...a must have for any library that has the DC Super Pets books. It breaks down everything you want to know about the superpets with great illustrations and text that you will enjoy reading with the kiddos., This is a fun collection of 200 super-pets (both hero and villain) with all the information you would like to know about them. I was pretty confident that I knew my super heroes, but I found out about pets I had never heard of before. . . .With so many super characters to keep track of, this is a handy guide for any fan., It's a really cute book for kids. The illustrations are super fun and entertaining. I would definitely get this book if your kids are into superheroes, or the DC Super Pets series., If you've ever wanted to know more about DC's super pets, wondered what kind of pet Green Lantern or Wonder Woman would have, or just love animals in general, then this book is for you., At the risk of overstating things, I may have just read the single greatest book of all time, Capstone's DC Super-Pets Character Encyclopedia, a compendium of more than 200 heroic and villainous pets, compiled mainly from the line of Art Baltazar-illustrated chapter books for young readers., A fine additon to the DC Super pets series. So many charcacters, you can now look them up much easier. A must have for our collection., This is an awesome comic book all about the super pets and evil villian pets. It explains their costumes, and which fits best with each super hero., The thing I really love about Picture Window's DC Super-Pets books is Baltazar's character designs and drawings, and this book is full of both., The Super Pets have long been under-rated and ignored. I love that this encyclopedia is dedicated to them. It's full of information and wonderful images., The cool thing is each super pet has their own full-sized page in the book that lists their stats like favorite food, secret bio, who their super hero owner is, and who their allies and foes are. By the end of the book I was wondering why this hasn't been made into a game yet. I know it would be a great companion for kids to use to figure out what animals they need to collect and how they would compete against another super pet., If you have children interested in super heroes or just enjoy the Tiny Titans world of comics this is a good pick for them.
