Product Information
The world's most foul-mouthed elementary schoolers return with a new adventure that splits them into two rival groups in South Park: The Fractured but Whole. After gamers climbed the ranks in the fantasy-themed The Stick of Truth, Cartman decides the kids are now playing a superhero game, so players must start from scratch with a custom character. Gamers can choose to join Cartman's Coon and Friends crew, or Kenny's Freedom Pals, and then pick from three superhero classes, which can later be split into subclasses. Players then set off to discover their superhero origin story. Battles in The Fractured but Whole consist of turn-based combat on gridded maps, with gamers controlling their party of four and combining each character's unique skills to triumph over an assortment of strange and comical foes. When not in combat players can explore an expanded version of South Park, loot houses and trash cans to gather materials for use in crafting helpful items and artifacts, and snap Coonstagram photos with residents of the town. As in The Stick of Truth, this game features a script and voice acting from series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and it mixes in healthy doses of trademark South Park satire. This Gold edition includes the full game as well as the season pass.
