We did not attempt to sell them as cordovan leather, but we did use the word cordovan to describe the color of the shoes. We tried to be as clear about it as we could, but will be even more specific with our wording in future.

I believe that the listing said the item did not have any chips on it, but there actually was one tiny chip on the back side. But I don’t care b/c the rest of my set has been well used and there are a few chips on my pieces. I was very pleased overall with the transaction.
