Reviews
"Fans of The Da Vinci Code rejoice! Professor Robert Langdon is again solving the mysteries of the universe." --People Magazine "A brisk new book that pits creationism against science, and is liable to stir up as much controversy as The Da Vinci Code did. In Origin , the brash futurist Edmond Kirsch comes up with a theory so bold, so daring that, as he modestly thinks to himself in Brown's beloved italics, " It will not shake your foundations. It will shatter them. " Kirsch is of course addressing The World, because that's the scale on which Brown writes. Brown and serious ideas: they do fit together, never more than they have in Origin ." --Janet Maslin, The New York Times " Origin asks the questions Where do we come from? Where are we going? They are questions about humanity--but they could just as easily be questions about Robert Langdon. The Mickey Mouse watch-wearing, claustrophobic, always-near-trouble symbology professor is back in Dan Brown's latest book. And just like he was in his original exploits ( Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code ), Dr. Langdon is once again wrapped up in a global-scale event that could have massive ramifications on the world's religions. As he does in all his novels, Brown['s] extensive research on art, architecture, and history informs every page." --Entertainment Weekly "Entertaining . . . Loyal fans of his globetrotting symbologist Robert Langdon will no doubt be thrilled with the fifth book in the series." --USA Today " Dan Brown is once again taking on the big questions: God and science and the future of the world. Origin is a familiar blend of travelogue, history, conspiracies and whodunit, with asides on everything from the poetry of William Blake to the rise and fall of fascism in Spain." --Associated Press "The bestselling author of The Da Vinci Code is back with a new book that looks to the future. Origin features many of Brown's signature themes. An evil, Catholic-adjacent cult, in this case the Palmarian Church, is behind some murders. Gems from art history are the key to solving the mystery. [And] if the reader is in it for the thrill and the twist, the faithful will be glad to hear that there's a Da Vinci Code -esque background to Robert Langdon's mission." --The New Republic, "Fans of The Da Vinci Code rejoice! Synopsis
The #1 New York Times Bestseller (October 2017) from the author of The Da Vinci Code. Bilbao, Spain Robert Langdon, Harvard professor of symbology and religious iconology, arrives at the ultramodern Guggenheim Museum Bilbao to attend a major announcement--the unveiling of a discovery that "will change the face of science forever." The evening's host is Edmond Kirsch, a forty-year-old billionaire and futurist whose dazzling high-tech inventions and audacious predictions have made him a renowned global figure. Kirsch, who was one of Langdon's first students at Harvard two decades earlier, is about to reveal an astonishing breakthrough . . . one that will answer two of the fundamental questions of human existence. As the event begins, Langdon and several hundred guests find themselves captivated by an utterly original presentation, which Langdon realizes will be far more controversial than he ever imagined. But the meticulously orchestrated evening suddenly erupts into chaos, and Kirsch's precious discovery teeters on the brink of being lost forever. Reeling and facing an imminent threat, Langdon is forced into a desperate bid to escape Bilbao. With him is Ambra Vidal, the elegant museum director who worked with Kirsch to stage the provocative event. Together they flee to Barcelona on a perilous quest to locate a cryptic password that will unlock Kirsch's secret. Navigating the dark corridors of hidden history and extreme religion, Langdon and Vidal must evade a tormented enemy whose all-knowing power seems to emanate from Spain's Royal Palace itself . . . and who will stop at nothing to silence Edmond Kirsch. On a trail marked by modern art and enigmatic symbols, Langdon and Vidal uncover clues that ultimately bring them face-to-face with Kirsch's shocking discovery . . . and the breathtaking truth that has long eluded us. Origin is stunningly inventive--Dan Brown's most brilliant and entertaining novel to date., THE #1 WORLDWIDE BESTSELLER FROM THE ICONIC AUTHOR OF THE DA VINCI CODE , THE LOST SYMBOL, AND INFERNO "Fans of The Da Vinci Code rejoice! Very fast shipping and carefully packaged! Unfortunately, there was an issue with the item but communication with Stephanie was great! She responded very quickly to messages and offered a very prompt and professional solution! I would not hesitate to order from this seller again!

Packaged very well, arrived on time and just what I ordered. However, the seller did not list the expiration date. The product expired 11/28/24. The product only comes in 60 packs and the box is enclosed in a plastic Ziplock bag. The bottom opening slot was removed. The box was opened and 20 packs taken out. The photos show a 60-pack box. How can a 60-pack box be a 40-pack box? Take out 20 packs and don't photograph the opening.

People like this always make me laugh! I also received a message from this person who wanted to tell me all about their masters degrees but couldn't read the title that says 40 packs in it or the READ in the title which then states the expiration date in the description. I even marked through the 60 on the box in the pics!! I wouldn't brag about your degrees if you cant read!

I was hesitant about the purchase because of the shipping costs but I’ve been buying on eBay since 1998 and this was the best packaging ever. FedEx had a problem and it was in the same spot for 10 days and took 20 days total. A message to the seller and she immediately took care of the issue and got it moving. Thank you Stephanie!
