Synopsis
Phoebe, the soulless child, has been raised by her adopted father, Eric-the universe-hopping vampire wizard from the future. Who better to raise a soulless infant than an undead monster? He did his best to raise her right. He saw to her education, picked a culture for her to grow up in, taught her to use her powers, and took her on tours through a thousand alternate histories-and alternate futures! She's learned to shoot, to fight, to cast spells, and to take anything a hostile universe can throw at her. But there comes a time when every child has to step out of the nest, spread her wings, and fly. Or fall. Unfortunately the U.S. Postal Service took 23 calendar days to deliver the book. It was shipped from Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, past Alabama to Texas, enjoyed several days in Texas, then to Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Florida, back to Atlanta, finally to Birmingham, and Huntsville. The seller was very responsive and I decided it was interesting to see if/how the book would arrive. Thanks, Joe
