The lesson is to make sure you thoroughly check the pins of any used CPU before inserting it into the sockets. Booted up just fine after the correction and works as expected. Would do business with again.

I would describe it as very well packed, it also arrived with some thermal compound however I opted to use my own, in a pinch it would likely work without issue. It also arrived with an alcohol wipe to clean the CPU but mine arrived clean.

The box it arrived in was a bit concerning, but the CPU was safely wrapped in a thick layer of bubblewrap and had no damage or bent pins. The added thermal paste was a plus, though not needed in my case. Happy with my purchase though I was a bit reserved when it arrived.
