But what she finds terrifies them both. She discovers a secret police file, a trail of bodies, and a madman's diary in John's own handwriting that chronicles a murderous rampage. Jessie can't believe that the man she has come to trust could be a killer. But no matter what her heart tells her, her head is screaming that the man and the monster are one and the same. And as Jessie gets closer to the truth, we learn that the final answers are more sinister than either John or Jessie dares imagine.
