I have a Dodge Dakota 2006, which is clearly listed as fits my truck, it doesn’t. I was able to return the double din radio I purchased for a single din and purchased a single install kits that has the covers for the radio knobs that will not be used on the new radio. Either the single din radio I did not have to cut way anything, changing to a single din is your best option.

One thing I noticed is that this particular split Loom is made a lot better than some I have bought in the past from other vendors in the fact that you can work with it easily and it appears it will take more high temperature abuse.
