Notes
Ramón was born and raised in Todos Santos, on the Pacific coast of Baja California Sur, Mexico and currently resides in Cabo San Lucas. Ramón says, 'I have 10 brothers and sisters. I started playing the guitar when I was 6. We could not afford music lessons so I learned from the earth, sky, and ocean.' They continue to inspire his music today. From humble beginnings he has risen to prominence as a songwriter/artist and is widely known and highly respected throughout Baja. Every note from Ramón's rich baritone voice comes straight from his heart and these upbeat songs are sure to send you into the 'Ramon Zone'. This album was inspired by his performances in one of the restaurants in Cabo San Lucas where Ramón has been featured nightly. La Casa Del Pozo (The House of the Well) is named for the hundred and fifty year-old water well at the back of the restaurant. Even without a microphone, his strong, clear voice can be heard from several blocks away. Ramón's voice and music are the Magic from the Well.
