Synopsis
Jake plays baseball with his friend Jason, who is good at hitting the ball, while Jake strikes out. Jake learns that with God's help and lots of practice, he can learn to play baseball too., Jake is unhappy because he cannot play baseball as well as his friend Jason, but with the help of his family, practice, and prayer, he learns to hit the ball nearly every time., Jake's friend Jason comes over to play with Jake and wants to play baseball. After Jason hits the ball several times, Jake wants a turn to bat. Jake keeps striking out, so Jason gets frustrated and goes home. Jake is discouraged at his inability to play baseball. Mother assures Jake that with patience, practice, and God's help, he will learn to hit the ball too. Grandma comes over for a visit and Jake asks her to play baseball with him. Grandma has the time, patience, and encouragement Jake needs to learn how to hit the ball.

It was shipped from Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, past Alabama to Texas, enjoyed several days in Texas, then to Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Florida, back to Atlanta, finally to Birmingham, and Huntsville.
