    Still a bit on the fence on this. The ribbon was twisted, I needed to heat it a bit to get it somewhat in line. Getting the ribbon inside the wheel was a huge pain in the behind, but the twist meant it would force itself away from the cog when extending. After a few days my antenna stayed up, next time it went down again. So not sure on the fix yet. There's also a metal tube with 2 tabs, one was caught on the outer shell, not forced, when I pushed it back it snapped off already. But it works...

    I was a little unsure what I needed but an email to Car-Masts soon fixed that. They offer excellent quality, a very prompt and very helpful and friendly service. An easy repair to my Ford Escort Cab Aerial - after I had made a call to them to check a few technical facts before I started the job.
