Taking place before the events of Metal Slug 4, Metal Slug 7 puts gamers in the shoes of familiar characters, such as Marco, Tarma, and Fiolina, as they blast their way through seven frenetic levels in another attempt to take down General Morden's forces. The DS' lower screen serves as a map to guide players toward power-ups and captives, and gamers can blast their way through each level in the new Slug Truck, Slug Gigant, and Heavy Armor vehicles.
