This expansion package from Ascaron adds new heroes and more Ancarian adventure to the isometric hack-and-slash role-playing of Sacred. In addition to the six character types available in the original, players can now take the roles of a burly Dwarf and a sultry Succubus as they travel the fantasy realm. In all, Sacred: Underworld is said to add almost half again as much new content as was featured in the original game, including new chapters, side-quests, areas, and NPCs. Multiplayer adventuring is also supported, though a local network or over the Internet.
