Synopsis
The deadliest secrets are hiding in plain sight... When Abigail McGowan is reported missing in a bleak Lincolnshire blizzard, DI Freya Bloom and DS Ben Savage are called in to begin the hunt. With worsening weather, and almost nothing to go on, the futile search begins. Search teams, dogs, and the local community all rally together to find Abigail McGowan. Until the moment they were all dreading happens, and a body is discovered, discarded in an old disused drain. But when Abigail's father announces that the body isn't Abigail, the investigation takes a turn for the worse - and the turns just keep on coming. Who is the girl in the drain? Where is Abigail McGowan? And how are the crimes linked? With the bad weather closing in, Bloom and the team race against the clock to bring the killer to justice, and find Abigail - dead or alive. Suffer In Silence is the jaw-dropping fourth book in the Wild Fens Murder Mystery series by Jack Cartwright. Filled with twists, peppered with romance, and flavoured with humour, the Wild Fens Murder Mystery series is perfect for fans of JD Kirk, JM Dalgliesh, Ann Cleaves, and Rachel McClean.

Messaged the seller a week after I ordered it to see when they were going to ship it. They responded immediately and said it would be shipped out soon. Got it about a week later. Book did arrive in the date range that they provided though Minimal packaging. Book is Shrink wrapped and only wrapped in thin plastic. No bubble wrap. Book is in good shape though.
