This excellent resource is written by an established authority on supply chain management and production and inventory control., This focused book concentrates on planning and control; it answers the question: "what parts of operations management do we really need to know?" It does not bog the reader down with details, but allows them to concentrate on fundamental principles, such as the development and application of software solutions, inventory management, and lean production concepts. Topics include: forecasting, sales and operations, scheduling, materials requirements, capacity management, production control, "partnering" activities, and system integration. Good price for the book. Shipping was slow. Messaged the seller a week after I ordered it to see when they were going to ship it. They responded immediately and said it would be shipped out soon. Got it about a week later. Book did arrive in the date range that they provided though Minimal packaging. Book is Shrink wrapped and only wrapped in thin plastic. No bubble wrap. Book is in good shape though.

Shipping took almost 2 weeks but the book arrived brand new and as listed. Was shipped in a plastic mailer with no protection but I got lucky it seems as the book suffered no damage in the shipping. Regardless, I recommend the seller, book was as described and brand new! Thank you so much!
