However, as soon as I removed it from the bag, it released a strong odor. I hung it outside to no avail. Then I hand washed it which didn't help. It permeated the whole room I thought it might be lavender. Others say it is patchouli. If I knew what it was, I might be able to research a way to remove the smell. Maybe it is incense. If you know more than I do, please advise.
