I'm very particular about lens quality and condition. I bought the same lens as mint, from another Japan seller, and on reception it was faulty (stuck focusing ring), so I had to return it. This one wasn't cheap at all, but it was described as top mint, and it truly was. Delivered very quickly with express service.
