NCAA Football 98 makes its PC debut with 112 teams from ten Division I-A conferences. While the franchise mode from the PlayStation version is not included, owners can still embark on a full season, compete in a rivalry match, or choose one of 20 historic games. A total of 122 stadiums are included, and the game has exclusive rights to the FedEx Orange Bowl, Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, and Nokia Sugar Bowl. Chuck White handles the play-by-play commentary, while over 30 authentic fight songs are available to heighten the atmosphere. Playbooks are designed to reflect actual team play styles and were created with the help of former coach Terry Donahue. Challenge the computer on one of three skill settings, or play against a friend via LAN or modem.
