I had not been able to test ST506 interface drives for a couple of years, and this particular drive was one of the first that I grabbed. Over half of the MFM drives I tested were bad. Next I used MS DOS 6.0 to create a single partition, high-level format the drive, and make it bootable, with the most useful DOS files copied to it.
