Reviews
"The biography, Damn You, Scarlett O'Hara, is the first to identify Leigh's lesbian lovers...One of her first bisexual lovers to be named in the book is Isabel Jeans, an actress who...had appeared in early films by Alfred Hitchcock. There are at least two other lesbian relationships outlined in the book, as well as affairs with a host of dashing leading men, including Marlon Brando and Rex Harrison." -- The Sunday Times

Synopsis
The scandalous love affair of The Royal Family of the British Stage was second in fame and notoriety only to that of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Co-authors Roy Moseley (the couple s "honorary" godson and long-standing friend and personal assistant) and Darwin Porter tear away the velvet curtain previously draped over the reputations of this famous team, exposing with searing insights the depths of their sexual excess and interpersonal anguish. Some of the most iconic figures of the 20th century move through chapters that highlight a revelation on every page. Even though the spotlight shone on this famous pair throughout most of their tabloid-fueled careers, much of what went on behind the velvet curtain remained hidden from view until the publication of this ground-breaking biography. For the first time, the sexual excesses and interpersonal anguish of this impossibly famous team of actors are exposed in graphic, sometimes wrenching detail.

The book was exactly as described and arrived quickly. The only problem is a recurring one with this seller and other similar sellers - the book is poorly packaged in a plastic envelope and gets heavily bumped in shipping. I would like to see the books wrapped before shipment, but I understand this can't be done for cost reason. Luckily it isn't an expensive book, and I will continue to purchase basic books from this seller. A+++++

A+ Highest Rating for this transaction. Nova Classic Volume 2 - Marvel / Paperback - condition & quality look really good, ALMOST NEW even better than described. Shipping was Fast (1 week) / packaging was thin mylar mailer, but no visible damage to book. Great price AND free shipping. I buy here often, and this transaction was flawless. 5 STARS
