The powerful zoom lens gives you the flexibility and precision you need to capture professionally-polished images. If you like to get close to your subjects, use auto macro for shots up to 1 inch from your subject. Advanced HAD CCD Hole Accumulation Diode CCD reduces noise in the video signal to improve signal-to-noise ratio by up to 6dB (2x better than a standard CCD). The Solar Window Panel, located behind the large, full-color LCD screen, captures ambient light so the screen doesn't "wash out", even in difficult lighting conditions. The screen prevents eyestrain by letting you preview your shots right on the camera back. InfoLithium battery with AccuPower meter lets you know the amount of power remaining in the battery to within 1 minute of accuracy. The lithium-ion battery also recharges faster and resists memorization far better than nickel-cadmium batteries.
