When it comes to improving data center storage efficiency the Seagate Savvio internal hard drive is a solid choice that helps make the transition from a standard 3.5-inch form factor drive to a 2.5-inch HDD drive seamless – it increases a data center's capacity by two times while reducing it's footprint by 70 percent!. The Seagate Savvio provides users with a 146 GB internal hard drive with plenty of storage space that allows your computer's OS to boot and load applications faster. And with a 10,000-rpm rotational speed it makes reading and writing to the hard drive quite a bit faster. Finally with some 16 MB of cache memory, which is double what many other internal hard drives offer, users can grab the data they use the most frequently at a faster rate when searching. This hard drive features a SCSI or SAS 2.0 port and can be installed in any Windows-based desktop computer or server.
