The trains are exactly as described, and the battery-operated ones had batteries and worked perfectly. These are hard to find in the states, so it was a great value. This seller is also easy to communicate with, and made my experience wonderful! The image I added shows an extra set from a different seller (and my kitty). The trains were shipped to me in plastic wrap.

The only criticism I have is that when shipping long distance and overseas packaging should be more adequate for its contents, i.e., hard card covering soft paper manuals to avoid papers being torn. Fortunately, the manuals were not damaged in transit but the package paper was. This could have caused much damage to such great manuals.
