Classic Nintendo fans can rejoice with this Game & Watch Collection from Club Nintendo. This compilation cartridge for Nintendo DS includes three original Game and Watch games: “Donkey Kong,” “Oil Panic,” and “Green House,” each of which was originally released in 1982. The games all retain the graphics and sound of the originals in an effort to emulate the experience of play on the '80s Game & Watch handheld devices. Additionally, each of these games also has an alarm clock feature built-in, just as it was on the older versions. Each also comes with both A and B modes of play. The A mode has a normal difficulty and the B mode features a more advanced level of play. This retro Nintendo Game & Watch series first began in 1980 and was inspired by a Nintendo manager in Japan. Each collection of Game & Watch games was played on a portable LCD device and came with a game and a clock. Gamers may notice a few changes in some of the controls in the DS version; however, the changes were made to work better with the Nintendo DS system. The appearance of the games remains true to the originals."Donkey Kong" is a one-player action adventure in the Game & Watch Collection that provides hours of fun. If you remember the arcade version, this edition of "Donkey Kong" is very much like it. You have to leap over the barrels coming at you while you make your way through the various levels and try to take out Donkey Kong. What sets it apart from the arcade games is the moving suspended girders passing on the bottom of the screen. "Oil Panic" features a dual screen, and it's the first in the Game & Watch multi-screen series. In this single-player version, you need to be on your toes as you control a station helper’s bucket to catch flammable oil droplets from a leaky pipe and empty them into an oil drum. Every time you miss the oil drum or any drops of oil, your player loses one of four lives. If you lose all four, the game is over.You'd better be a good gardener in the Game & Watch Collection adventure "Green House." Protect your flowers from enemies with bug spray. Fight off worms attacking your flowers from the top while spiders do their best to destroy your flowers from the bottom. Keep playing until three of your flowers are eaten and then start again. This is a single player game. There's no need to check your watch or keep track of time while playing these games. Simply set the alarm feature to activate the alarm clock. If you're part of Club Nintendo, use your earned stars and coins in your account to help you increase your Game & Watch Collection to include the Game & Watch Collection 2. Have fun reliving those memories of Mario, Donkey Kong, and your other favorite characters with this vintage group of games.

Arrived in a smaller package then I though it would, but it was completely wrapped in bubble wrap and secure in the package so nothing moved around or was damaged. I had trouble hooking it up, but once I did, it worked perfectly. I am glad it came with a game so I could try it out right away instead of waiting for my other orders to arrive. Great price for the console. Excellent Seller!

The value was worth it given this is a limited edition controller the only issue was packaging. The original box was cool but the controller was falling out of the box and it wasn't really well packaged. There was some packaging paper but not a lot. Otherwise this was worth the price.
