Bumblebee is a robot that is always ready for the action. You can be a part of the action too with the Hasbro Transformers Deluxe Classics Bumblebee action figure. Based on the classic Transformers design from the 1980s, this versatile action figure toy is capable of both aerial and underwater missions, expanding the possibilities for your play. While the toy is designed for children ages 4-9, fans of the Transformers movies and cartoon series alike will enjoy recreating the thrills of the action with this toy. The Deluxe Classics Bumblebee action figure was released by Hasbro as a part of the Classics Transformers line, which takes the iconic Transformers characters from Generation One of the Transformers cartoons, updating them to remain true to the characters while using today’s design aesthetics and engineering knowledge. With the Classics Transformers line, Hasbro seeks to return Transformers to the basics, with a modern twist in toys that those exclusively familiar with the Transformers movies enjoy. While Bumblebee is small compared to many of the other Transformers characters, he makes up for it through his incredible bravery and willingness to go places the others won’t. This willingness often places him in grave danger, but he’s never been captured. He’s too skilled to be caught, and the toy version of him captures his essence. Bumblebee’s robot mode in this version of the action figure is based heavily on his appearance in the Generation One cartoon. While his animation model didn’t feature wheels on his arms and head like the action figure does, the Deluxe Classics Bumblebee action figure can transform into the cruiser and watercraft and trailer. Overall, the figure’s general body shape resembles the Generation One cartoon with features from the alternate incarnation of Bumblebee, Throttlebot Goldbug. The Hasbro Transformers Deluxe Classics Bumblebee action figure beats out other Autobots for versatility because of its two separate play modes in this version of the toy. Bumblebee transforms from its original 8-inch action figure robot version into a cruiser vehicle with a rear spoiler for land-based missions. Once transformed, Bumblebee’s vehicle shape matches that of a sloped hatchback vehicle, with a raised vent on the front hood, a spoiler on the rear, vent lines on the front grille, and wheels with small circle details and five spokes. The Deluxe Classic Bumblebee action figure does not include any weapons. But what the robot doesn’t have in weapons, he makes up for in accessories, like his Jet Ski in this version of the toy. Bumblebee’s jet pack can also convert to a Wave Crusher watercraft and trailer within just a few moves. Bumblebee’s Jet Ski, Wave Crusher, connects to the trailer. Wave Crusher connects to Bumblebee through the hitch on his back. Wave Crusher is sleek in appearance, with pearl paint and a light blue windshield. The updates on the Transformers Deluxe Classics Bumblebee action figure like the Jet Ski make it a toy Transformers lovers of all ages love.
