Enjoy some gaming nostalgia with Grand Theft Auto Collector's Edition for PlayStation 1. This special edition from Rockstar Games contains three of the early games in a three-disc sleeve. As with numerous other PS1 titles, these GTA games are compatible with the PS2, including the slim model. Furthermore, both Grand Theft Auto and GTA 2 are compatible for the PlayStation 3.In the first game in this collector's edition, you run around in 1997 in three distinct cities: Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas. All three cities are riddled with crime from petty street gangs to full-blown crime syndicates. Tackle various missions for the mob, steal cars, and even rob people to earn your pay. You can only move on to the next city once you amass a certain amount of money. There are six levels total with no time limit, so you can take as long as you like to explore this vast, open world.The Grand Theft Auto: London Mission Pack was the first mission expansion released for the PS1. Rather than the made-up cities from the first game, this expansion lets you explore real-life London in 1969. Some of the characters parody known figures such as Sid Vicious, known as Sid Vacant in the story. The game gives you 30 new vehicles and 39 new missions. The revamped soundtrack also reflects the time and location, firmly planting players in 1960's Britain.In Grand Theft Auto 2, you head back to the USA in an undisclosed, futuristic location. The content expands largely from the first title in the series. Instead of just the police coming after you, SWAT, the army, and Special Agents join the fray. Your character is also hurled in the midst of seven different gangs all fighting for turf and power. Players have the option to join one of the gangs and climb up the ladder for control. There are numerous weapons and cars to try out. Grand Theft Auto 2 introduced players to side missions. You can take on fun roles such as a taxi driver to earn some more money. With certain weapons, you can even start up a special "Kill Frenzy" mission to pass the time. In addition, the non-playable characters are far more active than they were in other games. Sit back and watch them fully interact with both the environment and each other. Gang members will engage in fights while other criminals will participate in mugging innocent civilians.This collector's edition comes with more exclusive perks that go beyond the in-game content. You get to look at some nice-sized maps of the worlds for both Grand Theft Auto and its sequel to plan your crime routes. For the first game, maps exist for all three cities. In the second, the map is more extensive, detailing each controlled area of the gangs at play. An additional bonus included in this version is a sticker of the classic Rockstar logo.

    The first NES I got was, unfortunately, defective, although to be fair, it did look like it had probably been damaged during shipping. Resolving the issue was super easy. Big credit to the seller for responding to my messages immediately, sending me a replacement unit (which worked great), and sending me a label to send back the defective unit. The seller was cool about the whole process and immediately volunteered to make it right. Would definitely buy from them again.
