In a retelling of the comic book saga that has appealed to generations, "Spider-Man: 1, 2, 3" offers an adventure story and plenty of action. This three-disc set includes all three of the movies directed by Sam Rami. "Spider-Man: 1, 2, 3" begins with the origin of Spider-Man when young Peter Parker was bitten by a spider on a school trip. The movies unfold to introduce such villains as the Sandman, Venom, Doctor Octopus, and the Green Goblin. Plus, "Spider-Man: 1, 2, 3" includes an all-star cast, such as Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Bryce Dallas Howard. The three-disc set that includes the full, uncut feature action films, a selection of deleted scenes, featurettes, and documentaries. "Spider-Man: 1, 2, 3" takes the stories of the comic books and brings them to life on the screen through larger-than-life villains and high flying acrobatics. However, "Spider-Man" is also a coming of age story.
