Mary Steenburgen plays multiple characters in this chilling horror story by Arthur Penn. A struggling actress takes a role for a producer at his isolated mansion. Upon her arrival, things begin to get strange. She is never fully explained the extent of her role by the aging producer or his assistant. As the days pass and the behavior of the producer becomes increasingly suspicous, the actress suspects that there is something sinister afoot. Trapped in a faraway mansion with no one to help her, she must call upon every ounce of her wit and talent to survive.

    Overall good condition/value but with a few caveats. Seller didn't know how to send extra images and there was a bit of damage that was cut off from the listed images on 2 separate books. Also wish there was a little more care on packing for a $100 and $40 paperback book but thankfully they seemed alright despite only being sent with packing paper to prevent sliding. Packing tape was coming off the box, causing the box to be open a bit. Overall okay though and completed my collection. Thanks!

    The ebay app was not allowing pictures be attached so pictures were texted to the buying showing multiple angles of the book, and buyer proceeded with the sale. Also books were wrapped and placed in abox offering protection

    Excellent. I had been after this book for some time and was delighted to get it at a good price and it was a very nice surprise to find it had been signed by the author ! which wasn't mentioned in the description. Item was received in tip top condition weeks ahead of the expected delivery date but a touch more packaging - maybe a bit of bubble wrap ? around the book might have been a good idea ? Anyway I'm very happy. Thanks !
