It doesn't work as a recirculating valve, it's too restrictive and will always give your turbo back pressure. Mine wasn't air tight and allowed air to seep through therefore loosing me boost pressure. Only works as a blow off valve and for 1.8 turbos, you will need a map to run correctly or you will go into "limp"
