This is a great retrofit to the BMW lci cupholder, which clips straight into the front space of the cupholder by removing the rubber mat. Some minor alteration is required to run the power lead, (the same for any wireless charger) and then it is a case of 'plug and play' using the wiring connections provided in the box. There are also some good videos on line to help with installation. Very happy with purchase.
