It's a micro amount thinner than the 1970's blades from Acme for these juicer models. Probably a later Waring takeover era replacement part and their efforts to cheapen the manufacturing process of the Acme design. At least it's not plastic and will do the trick. Almost the same. Plus other eBay seller has these for right below $50. SunshineHealthyLiving sold me one for $30. It's the best deal going. Acme itself charged more.($34).
