Now I'm off to see how well they work in my project! Oh, nice build, seems to work better than using a LM317 regulator. It fits perfectly where 2 AA batteries would go. OK, I converted a 3v EL wire controller to handle DC from a 12v 1A SMPS that is controlled by a KASA wireless switch, but bypassed the controllers power on/flash IC so it was always on. No batteries, I can schedule the EL light to come on automatically!
