It's definitely new and worth every penny and was cheaper than buying directly from the maker. I love the solid feel of the pistol grip head. It fits perfectly in my hand, and the black polyurethane body and silver aluminum head look amazing together. This cane has a steel rod in the center and easily supports my 6 ft, 220 lbs frame, and, unlike other canes that are just hollow tubes, I have no worries about how long it will last.
