Exactly as described, very sturdy and very sharp. Under magnified inspection there is no scalloping as if machine sharpened. I believe the seller when they state it is hand sharpened. The weight and balance are perfect. This is NOT some cosplay toy. This sword is a true, 2 handed battle blade.
