The Panasonic PV-D4745S is built for versatility with the ability to play DVDS, VHS tapes, and CDs. The DVD player can play DVD discs of several types, including DVD-R and DVD-RAM. This Panasonic DVD player can also play digital picture CDs if the pictures are in JPEG format, along with audio CDs. The progressive-scan playback ability of the Panasonic PV-D4745S gives the owner the ability to view the content in a much better quality if they are using an HD-compatible TV. The VCR is programmable with the ability to create eight events within the month and perform auto channel set. The VCR component of this Panasonic DVD player allows the user to use the TV tuner and front-panel audio video input and is equipped with four video heads. With this Panasonic DVD player, the user can even skip commercials on their videos. The remote control of this DVD player works for multiple brands of TVs.
