The USPS mailer was given additional wrapping around it and the magazine was in a bag but additional cardboard pieces may have kept the magazine from getting bent up. It was in a light grey polyethylene bag, which protected it from water and was then put in a sturdy cardboard package, so it couldn't bend. It was great value and looked how it was described.
