Always best replaced with a new PRD. The valve emits a squealing sound when it starts to fail, and eventually stops holding water pressure in the system.

I left positive feedback as seller sent return postage label instantly so issue resolved in terms of accepting the product back and admitting that not all of the order was sent out.
