Synopsis
The subject of the book is the "greed gene", and how that part of the human psyche propels us toward the accumulation of more and more wealth, even at the expense of our principles and friendships and the well being of society. A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band, THE DOORS, fractured because of this. In his book, drummer John Densmore looks at the conflict between him and his bandmates as they fought over the right to use The Doors' name. At the same time, Densmore examines how this conflict mirrors and reflects a much larger societal issue - that no amount of money seems to be enough for even the wealthiest people.

In particular, *very* effective cardboard *and* cellophane packaging was used to protect the book during its international transit. This meant the book arrived safe and in great condition, with no "dings" or bends. As such, I *highly* recommend this seller (1-highbidder/Yesterdaze Closet).

They were earnest to stick to shipping times promised but realized the product they had was not what was not the quality pictured, so they messaged me ahead of time with solutions (full refund, return the original and get a new item or keep what was sent with a partial refund.) I chose the full refund/new item - it came quickly and packaged so well! I appreciate also that they use recycled items for packaging.
